Keith represents clients in litigation arising from trust administration and in probate including beneficiary disputes, contested inheritance rights, disputed creditor claims, breaches of fiduciary duty, estate or trust property with environmental issues, will and trust contests, capacity issues, claims of undue influence, financial elder abuse, contested powers of attorney, contested accountings, fraudulent transfers, partition actions and many other areas.
Keith obtained a California Superior Court judgment in excess of $161 million on behalf of its client, an overseas provider of trade financing insurance. The case involved a complex, cross-border trade and export finance scheme perpetrated by certain individuals and their affiliated South Korean and United States-based businesses.

The case involved a complex, cross-border trade and export finance scheme perpetrated by certain individuals and their affiliated South Korean and United States-based businesses.
Keith assisted the client both with the investigation of the case and the pursuit of litigation claims against the U.S.-based individuals and businesses who participated in the fraudulent conduct. The case was venued in the California Superior Court in San Diego County, where the defendants were based.
The Court entered a judgment against the defendants in excess of $161 million for the fraudulent scheme perpetuated against the firm’s client. This judgment followed on a previous judgment in excess of $71 million that Keith had previously help to obtain in August 2018 in a related action that granted formal recognition to two Korean civil judgments.
Keith represented pro bono refugee client in his application for asylum before a United States Immigration Court. Client was a successful businessman from Cameroon. Client was accused by the Cameroonian government of aiding English speaking separatists in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon. Client suffered imprisonment and torture at the

Client was accused by the Cameroonian government of aiding English speaking separatists in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon. Client suffered imprisonment and torture at the hands of Cameroonian security forces. After a daring escape, Client was able to eventually make his way to the United States. After arriving at the United States border in February 2019, Client was detained at the ICE detention center at Adelanto, California. Keith successfully argued during a one-day trial that Client was entitled to asylum protections in the United States. The court granted Client‘s application at the conclusion of trial and released him that same day. Client was then able to join family already living in the United States.

Keith obtained a California Superior Court judgment in excess of $71 million on behalf of his client, an overseas provider of trade financing insurance. Keith helped bring an action on behalf of the client in the San Diego County Superior Court seeking judicial recognition of two civil judgments for breach of contract previously entered in the client’s favor by courts in the Republic of Korea. Claims were brought under the Uniform Foreign-Country Money Judgments Enforcement Act. Keith obtained recognition of the Korean judgments by the California court, which entered judgment in the client’s favor in excess of $71 million based upon the unpaid amounts due for the Korean judgments. This recognition of the Korean judgments now allows the client to enforce the Korean judgments in the United States by way of a valid California court judgment.
Keith obtained a partial arbitration award in a foreign arbitration that defeated a claimant’s claim for general damages in an amount in excess of $300 million.
Keith obtained an arbitration award in his client's favor in international arbitration proceeding. Client was a foreign based manufacturer in dispute with U.S. customer. Keith obtained complete relief for client for all amounts owed and defeated several million dollars worth of counter claims brought against client.
Keith obtained complete defense victory in federal district court through summary judgment on claims of over $30 million in damages alleged by American based distributor of foreign based manufacturing client.
